Helping The Average Man Save Face
Finally, a blog full of easy to understand information for guys who know nothing about skin care. So, why is saving face important? Let’s start with the obvious: I’m a man. A man who’s spent thousands of dollars on skin care products over the last 18 years. Guys like me are in the minority when it comes to taking care of their faces.
But I come from a long line of vain heterosexual Italian men. Make no mistake about it, the men in my family are rough and tumble guys… they just take longer than their wives, mothers, girlfriends and sisters to get ready… and they definitely believe in pampering themselves.Like I said, I realize I’m in the minority. Most men don’t waste time on face products. They get just as uncomfortable escorting their girlfriends and wives down the tampon isle as they do browsing for skin care at the local CVS. And department stores? Forget it! I can’t remember the last time I saw a straight guy shopping for skin care at the Clinique counter of their local Macy’s. (if you didn’t understand a word of that last sentence, this blog is DEFINITELY for you!)
When it comes to skin care, guys will wash their face with whatever’s lying around in the shower- and that’s just not right! So, I figured it’s about time I put my years of skin care experience and my fascination with cosmetic chemistry to good use. Man’s Best Face has one simple goal: to teach the average guy the basics of skin care. It’s going to be painless, it wont be embarrassing and it wont cost you a fortune. I promise.
No matter how much money you have in the bank, where you come from or where you’re going, if you look your best, you just feel better. No one can take that away from you. When you spend a few minutes each day taking care of your skin, you’ll look healthier - and sure, I’ll say it - younger. You’ll have less problems with acne, ingrown hairs and shaving. And guys…no matter what you think…the ladies will like it.
Tomorrow we start with the most important first step to healthy skin: washing your face. Think you know how? Think again.
